Leaps of faith

It took us over a year to place her and her sisters. It was worth it- all three have wonderful families.

At the Humane Society, we are all people of great faith. If we weren't, we couldn't do this job. Every week we rescue more and more animals- we have no promise of adopters willing to take them home, no promise of donations to help with their care, and no guarantee that our volunteers will show up again tomorrow to tend to them.

This litter of kittens came to us sick, all have recovered and found great homes.

So blindly, we leap. We take in a litter of sick kittens, a scared dog who needs extra TLC, a special pet that may take a while to find the right home..because we have faith. Faith that our volunteers and donors will come through for the animals and faith that there are great adopters out their waiting to open their homes and hearts.
Tomorrow, we will rescue even more animals. And hope that our 'leaps of faith' will pay off again.

Tyler, now adopted.
