Mayor's service day at the shelter
The Stillwater mayor loves on our new rescue Millie while waiting for volunteers to arrive
Stillwater's mayor Nathan Bates arranged an event last Friday where he encouraged OSU students and Stillwater residents to come together and volunteer at the Humane Society. Many kitties were cuddled, dogs were walked and rooms were cleaned! It was a great help to have so many people willing to get dirty in order to get the dogs clean for Walk N' Wag the next day. We sincerely hope the volunteers that attended this event will return in the future to help us care for the animals.
Two volunteers trimming nails- a big job here at the shelter!
So remember, Stillwater, this is your shelter. Come down, help out and say hello to the animals!
