Annie ("Hope") was a special dog who came into the Humane Society in very bad shape and needing a lot of medical care. She had been hit by cars multiple times and had been used as target practice. Due to lack of funds, the reality is that we can't save most of the dogs who come in in this condition. There was something about Annie that made our director decide we had to find a way to save her.
Thanks to generous donations and two of our caretakers willing to take her home for her recovery and rehabilitation, Annie got her chance at life! Her foster family decided that they would become her forever home, and now Annie has the best life a dog could ask for! We know Annie will be safe, well taken care of and loved for the rest of her life.
