Survivors need TLC, donations, forever homes

Cocopuff had her first trip to a groomer this week! New pics soon

Many of our dogs have sad stories about how they came to be at the shelter. A few of them are true survivors. We are caring for some Cocker Spaniels that were rescued when a puppymill was shut down. The horrors they have endured are beyond what most of us can imagine-yet here they are, willing to give people another try, wanting just to be a loved pet. We absolutely owe it to them to make sure they are safe and loved for the rest of their lives. Of course, we need your help.
1. We need to pay the bills! Donations to assist in their care are needed.
2. They need more TLC than the few staff members can provide-come in, even if you just have 15 or 20 minutes to spare
3. We need forever homes who will try to understand what these dogs have been through and have patience with them.

Beautiful Sonnet has a name instead of just a number for the first time in her life.

Twinkle deserves to be somebody's star.

Melvin appears to be a 12 week old Cocker Spaniel puppy. He is actually almost 6 months old- his growth was stunted by his rough start.

Wallflower is only 10 months old. She is missing large patches of hair from mange, malnutrition and matts.

Murphy has spent his whole life making a profit for his owner. He deserves better.

Duffie is blind in one eye from severe cataracts.

Come on in and help us make some happy endings for these guys!
